I've always dreamed of the Sahara, and I'm finally going! This September I'm heading to Mauritania for a week of exploring the otherworldly landscapes of the Adrar plateau, from the sweeping dunes of Chinguetti to the mysterious ruins of Oualata. I want to camel trek, sleep under the stars, and get lost in the old town's labyrinthine streets. I'm a solo traveler from the US, and I'd love a couple of buddies to join me on this epic journey.
