Reunion in December: chasing carri poulet and volcano sunrises

Trip Description

December 3-14 on Reunion and I'm mainly here to eat my way around the island — carri poulet, bouchons, maybe a rougail saucisse if I earn it. Between meals I'd love to hike Piton de la Fournaise at sunrise and see the cirque de Mafate from above. Traveling solo and looking for a companion or two who won't judge how much I order. Anyone around?
